Cimarron Baptist Association

Statement of Purpose

The purpose of this Association is to strengthen and expand the work of our Savior among our churches and to give aid, advice and encouragement to our churches in carrying out the Great Commission of our Lord and may be further stated as follows:

1. To afford and promote a large fellowship of Christians in the work of Christ.
   
   
2. To discover needs which cannot be met effectively by churches individually and to coordinate the use of its resources in meeting these needs.
   
   
3. To promote programs and projects and to establish organizations to strengthen the churches and to assist them in achieving their objectives and goals.
   
   
4. To encourage every church to support the missionary, educational, and benevolent causes of this Association, the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma and the Southern Baptist Convention.
   
   
5. To provide a forum for such subjects as the biblical doctrines, polity and ethical standards.
