Greetings! I'm Tom Owens.
Welcome to the homepage of
Cimarron Baptist Association.

I serve as the Director of
Missions for Cimarron Baptist
Association. I serve as the
administrative leader, missions
coordinator and missions strategist
for the Association.

Allow me to define my role with three
key words...

ENABLER: To Enable. To provide with the means, knowledge, or opportunity to do. I believe I am called to do all I can to provide individuals and churches with the means, knowledge, and opportunity to fulfill their calling from God.

ENCOURAGER: To Encourage. To inspire with courage or confidence. I believe I am called to do all I can to impart courage, inspiration, and resolution to individuals and churches... to be a friend, confidante & counselor, mentor & supporter to all who seek to fulfill the Great Commission within our association of churches.

ENHANCER: To Enhance. To cause to move forward or upward, as toward a goal. I believe that I am called to do all I can to cause Cimarron Baptist Association to move forward and upward toward the goal of being churches on mission together... to seek to increase the importance and reputation of this association by favorable publicity and by vigorously making known the positive features of our association.




Ann Davis, our Associational secretary, undergirds the specific work of the Director of Missions, the general work of the association, and miscellaneous help with individual church needs. She also serves as the financial secretary for the association. She will be called on more frequently by more people asking for a wider variety of information about the entire denomination than any other secretary in Southern Baptist life.
